There are many reasons men who get vasectomies later find themselves wishing for vasectomy reversals. #1: Getting Remarried

In many cases, men decide to have babies not because of their own desire, but because of their desire to make something amazing with someone else. Since someone else desperately wants to have a child, they can give the gift of life without having their own children. There aren’t as many men who make this decision for this reason, but it does happen sometimes. Before allowing a man to go through with this extremely generous act, most doctors will take steps to ensure the man can produce healthy sperm before he goes through this procedure. This does not occur for most men who go through a vasectomy, but physical discomfort can occur years after a vasectomy was performed. This is quite rare, but when it does happen a reversal vasectomy could be the only way for the pain to be stopped. This is only an option when a doctor believes the cause of the discomfort is definitely the vasectomy.
